A company that deals with the logistics of organizing transportation

The group I work for has a lot of companies and they often need organized transportation. Kappastar logistics deals with that. Very often, when organizing transportation, there were various types of misunderstandings, since communication was by phone and e-mail.

In order to prevent this, I was given the task of creating an application that would reduce the problems that arose when organizing transport, and all the documentation is located in one place.

How to complete this?

Several stages are needed to realize such a project.

• Understanding the process

  It is necessary to get in touch with the people who are in charge of the transport and get all the necessary information in communication with them.

• Idea Generate

  Before writing any serious code, it is necessary to first design the appearance and functionality of the application. For that, it is necessary to create a project task, where the idea that needs to be implemented will be described in detail.

• Planning and creating a database

  A database that can be perceived as a set of tables and that can be manipulated according to a relational data model.

• Writing code

  In this part of the project, it is necessary to write the code for the application to be functional and to have the appearance defined in the project task.

• Beta Testing and Bug Fixing

  In this part of the project, it is necessary to write the code for the application to be functional and to have the appearance defined in the project task.

Project result and summery

The final result is a web application that consists of a user, moderator and administrator part. The way to send reports is simplified for users, while moderators and administrators can more easily monitor reports with a lot of static parameters.

The process of organizing transportation was made easier and misunderstandings that arose through emails and phone calls were reduced to a minimum.
